Melissa's Review:

The Unhoneymooners is a standalone novel that lovers of contemporary romance with enemies to lovers tropes will adore. It's been awhile since I've read a book by this lovely duo but they're still going strong. I need to check out what books I've missed from them in the meantime.

This book starts off a bit different, our leading lady Olive has an identical twin sister named Amy. Olive seems to be the unlucky sister while Amy has such good luck that her entire wedding is pretty much paid for with giveaway winnings. Everything is going well until the buffet at the wedding reception winds up giving everyone there food poisoning except Olive and Ethan. Due to the bride and groom being ill, Olive and her new brother in law are offered the all inclusive trip to Hawaii that Amy won. Olive will have to pose as her twin sister and she and Ethan will just have to forget they dislike one another and try to stay out of each other's way. Their plans go a little awry when Olive's new boss winds up at the resort and finds out Olive is a newlywed and things just get worse when Ethan's ex-girlfriend shows up as well. Lines start to blur as their fake relationship builds an understanding between them and I knew it wouldn't take long for feelings start to come around.

The Unhoneymooners is a great read that I didn't want to put down. I loved the characters and there was a lot of drama and romance mixed in so I was entertained the entire time. There were some scenes where I wanted to shake them and yell that they needed to talk to one another and not just assume what the other was thinking. Other than that though I didn't really have an issue. If you're looking for an enemies to lovers book you're going to adore, grab this book!
