Melissa's Review:

Six Feet Under is book 4 in the Kenni Lowry series. For some reason I thought I reviewed this already but I guess not? I'll keep this fairly quick since it's been awhile since I read this. If you enjoy cozy mystery novels with a touch of paranormal you might enjoy this series.

Sheriff Kenni Lowry is back and the whole town is excited that celebrity chef, Frank Von Lee from the Culinary Channel is coming to town. He's there to try Kenni's mom's chicken pot pie. We have quite a bit going on besides the celebrity chef being there though, we have an illegal botox ring operating somewhere, someone distributing fake handicap placards as well as lots of drama and red herrings. Add in that Frank Von Lee winds up dead after eating something and you have one heck of a story.

Six Feet Under is a nice addition to the series. I really enjoy TKappes writing style, it makes the story go by quickly and keeps your attention. I did figure out who the killer was before it was revealed unfortunately but the story overall was well done. If you love cozy mysteries set in a small town you should give these a try.
