Melissa's Review:

At the Stroke of Midnight is book 1 in the Naughty Princess Club. I had to try this book out since I knew TSivec's writing is hilarious and this is fairytale inspired! I'm so glad I gave this a shot because it was a great read. If you're a fan of fairytale inspired books with adult content you're going to love this one.

Cynthia aka Cindy had the perfect life up until her husband left her for the babysitter. Cindy is having to realize that with no husband paying the bills and no money left in her bank account she's going to have to find a job. She's trying to live in denial as long as she can until Ariel, a neighbor on Fairytale Lane busts in and makes her face the truth. Cindy and the girls, Ariel and Isabelle wind up getting invited to be the entertainment at a party only to realize there was a miscommunication and the party wasn't for a little girl's princess party. This makes the girls realize stripping would solve all their money issues, they just have to learn the ropes. Enter PJ Charming, the sexy strip club owner that Cindy has serious chemistry with.

At the Stroke of Midnight is a book you don't want to miss out on. The characters really shined while listening to the audiobook. I was interested in seeing if Cindy would be able to change from the picture perfect housewife to a woman that can handle anything thrown at her. Ariel is a piece of work I couldn't get enough of, her personality is the polar opposite from Cindy and I'm glad because it got her where she needed to be. I'm hoping the next book is hers. If you're looking for a romance with fairytale vibes and a serious dose of humor mixed in you need to grab this book.

The Narrator:

CJ Bloom rocked the narration on this novel. Her voice was expressive and I was literally laughing out loud at the funny bits. She was the perfect narrator for this book.
