Melissa's Review:

Stray Magic is book 1 in the Strays series. I've been loving Urban Fantasy lately so knew I had to grab this one. I'm so glad I did because there's a good variety of paranormal beings and a really good whodunit. If you're a fan of Urban Fantasy try out this brand new series!

Shiloh Harrison is a half human half djinn working as a Federal Marshal in the Paranormal Investigators Unit. She gets called to an emergency situation of vampires invading and taking over a trailer park. Her and the team head out with Shiloh running lead since her boss is MIA. We wind up finding out that vampires and werewolves are going missing and all the master vampires are uneasy and knowing something big is going to happen. Shiloh and her team with the help of a master vampire are determined to find out who is behind this before it's too late.

Stray Magic is a great start to a new series! I love djinn characters and was so happy to see our leading lady was half, she does have some abilities but her human half is evident as well. All the different types of paranormal beings mixed in were a great addition, we had a different type with each member of her team. The book kept me on my toes and that ending I didn't see coming which is always a huge plus. I can't wait to see what the next book brings. If you love djinn in your Urban Fantasy grab this book ASAP!
