Melissa's Review:

Visions of Heat is book 2 in the Psy-Changeling series. This is my first book to read in the series, my library didn't have book 1 but I'll wind up grabbing it to try since I enjoyed this one so much. I'm kind of kicking myself that I didn't try this series before now. I can see why everyone loves it as much as they do.

Faith NightStar is a F-Psy, someone that gets visions of the future. She's one of the rarer psy so she's been kind of sequestered since she was young to get her gift to grow and be where they want it to be. They've channeled her ability to seek out futures for businesses, and makes tons of money for her clients which in turn makes her family quite wealthy. Faith's been having visions that she shouldn't lately though and is worried her mind is on it's way to insanity. When she finds out her visions were really a foretelling of her sister's death she seeks out the local changelings for advice from another psy that escaped the network. This is where she meets Vaughn D'Angelo, a changeling that can shift into a jaguar. He's drawn to her from the start and realizes she's his mate quickly. His only concern is that the psy don't feel emotions, so what if she doesn't want to be his mate. Faith continues to get visions from the killer and with the help of Vaughn she seeks justice for her sister. They are complete opposites but they worked so well together.

Visions of Heat had me to the point where I didn't want to stop listening to the audiobook. I already know I'll be binge listening to the other books in this series as much as possible since I enjoyed this one so much. I find the psy quite different from the other paranormal type books I've read before and I can't wait to hear about more of them soon. If you haven't read this series yet I'd suggest it if you're fond of paranormal romances.
