Melissa's Review:

Disturbing His Peace is book 3 in The Academy series. I've really enjoyed this series so far, but this installment was my favorite! I've been waiting Danika's story since we saw her in the first book and it was just a great read. There's drama, strong family ties and friendships and the romance is sizzling.

Danika Silva is one of the trainees at the police academy. She puts up a strong front but she'd do anything for the ones she loves. One of her instructors, Lt. Greer Burns is a no nonsense guy that follows all the rules. That is until Danika shakes up his life and he can't think of anything else. After a dangerous situation happens and Greer bails her out, she winds up on probation and has to check in with him daily. Their relationship grows with each call or being together and Greer is starting to doubt his rule of not having anyone in his life that is special to him. They wind up helping each other grow as the book progresses, she needs to learn she can't shoulder all the things for everyone and needs to rely on others sometimes and Greer has to open up and enjoy life.

Disturbing His Peace is a must read. The characters really make this book, I adored Greer and Danika, they balanced each other well. The plot was entertaining with multiple things going on besides the romance but tied into the story well. That romance though makes you want to fan yourself, it was hot. I wanted to see when Greer would break and finally admit to himself that he needs someone in his life and it took some pushing that's for sure. If you're looking for a steamy Contemporary Romance with people in uniform grab this book!
