Melissa's Review:

So Over You is book 2 in the Chicago Rebels series. I'm loving this series so far and it's really making me want to try more sports related romances. In typical Kate Meader fashion, this book is freaking hot and the tension between the two is electric. It's a must read if you're into sporty romances!

In this installment we have Isobel Chase as our leading lady. She's the middle sister of the trio that inherited their father's hockey team after he passed. Isobel is no rookie in the hockey field, she's played professionally before and after her accident on the ice she's now trying to become a coach for her team. Enter the sexy Russian player, Vadim Petrov. Vadim is recovering from an injury and Isobel is just the woman to get him in tip top shape. If having a woman drill him isn't enough, they have a past and it didn't exactly end well. Sparks fly and buttons are pushed and you're hoping they somehow manage to make it work, because they're just what each other needs.

So Over You is a steamy must read that will melt the ice. One of my favorite things about KMeader's writing style is that I love the balance of the relationship as well as the actual hockey games/practice in the novel. A lot of the times the careers in books get overplayed or forgotten about altogether once introduced but KMeader really knows how to write it beautifully. She also know how to write some seriously sexy scenes. All in all, if you're a fan of Contemporary Romance with sports you have to try this series.
