Happy Halloween - Crafty!

Happy Halloween, everyone! I'm mixing things up today and posting a craft I tried and it turned out way easier than I thought it would. When we moved into our house, hubby's parents gifted us sewing machines and I've never used one until this past weekend when I made this boxy bag.

This is the video I followed if you want to try making one.

Hubby showing me how to use the sewing machine

 Me trying out the serger

And the finished product!

Batty lining

I made this for a knitting bag :)

  2. I haven't pulled my sewing machine out in a couple years. And I want a serger. (I think the last thing I made was a superhero cape for a nephew.)

    Cool pouch.

  5. How lucky are you to be gifted sewing machines? Can your In-laws adopt me? I need a new sewing machine!
Are you normally crafty, or is this something new?

    1. Haha you could try, they have a ton :P They sew for a living and had a ton of spare industrial ones and gifted me one of those and the serger :D I've been knitting a lot lately, and tend to cycle through different crafts. Sewing is new for me though! :D *clicks on your etsy*
