Melissa's Review:

Marlee is out hiking with friends when one friend gets injured and has to leave their vacation early. Determined to actually do what she set out to, Marlee continues hiking alone. Things take an unexpected turn when Marlee is hunted by some wolves and gets injuries of her own. Thankfully a man (Daniel) steps in and saves her, but there's something odd about him, he's talking to the wolves like they're people. Marlee finds out that werewolves really exist and that one thinks that she's his mate. Marlee is left to deal with the fact that her injuries from the wolves hunting her might turn her into a wolf and she won't be able to return to her normal life if that's the case.

This was a super fast listen, I think I finished it just driving to and from work in one day. It's in no way connected to JFrost's other books, but it was still a great read. I'm wondering if there will be a werewolf series in the future, I hope so! I really enjoyed this quicky and suggest it if you're looking for a werewolf novella.

Narrator:

As always, Tavia Gilbert rocked this narration. She could probably read a takeout menu and I'd still be entertained while listening. Highly recommend her work!
