Melissa's Review:

The Billionaire's Fake Girlfriend: Part One starts out by introducing us to Rebecca, an aspiring actress. The agency she goes through sends her to a swanky party to get others interested in joining and Rebecca gets a bonus for each member that signs up. There aren't many nice people at a super wealthy party though. Being the nice person she is, Rebecca steps in when some harpies are corning someone and being extremely rude. Things get a bit out of hand and Rebecca winds up telling the harpies that she's there because her boyfriend is the one throwing the party. So of course the ladies try to prove that Rebecca is lying and confronts Marcus Taylor, the billionaire party thrower. Much to Rebecca's surprise, he plays along and acts like a caring boyfriend.

The book progresses with Rebecca continuing to fake being Marcus's girlfriend at events. The lines are blurring in their sham of a relationship though. The "couple" seems to be growing feelings for one another. That's where the issue comes in, are the feelings for real, or is this all in attempts to fool others?

This was a really fast read that I enjoyed. The author states that the story ends in a cliffhanger, and yeah, that's one big cliffhanger. You'll need to buy book two to see what happens next and I already know that I'm intrigued enough to buy it. I'd recommend this if you like uber wealthy males in your romance.

  2. Glad to see you enjoyed this one. You know, I've seen this book floating around and I always thought it said " The Billionaire's Girlfriend. >.< I always missed the "fake" part. I'm usually a fan of fake relationships turning into more but I'm confused why they kept the ruse going.
