Melissa's Review:

Well hello pretty cover and awesome book! I had never read a Lauren Dane book before and decided to give it a try since both book covers on this new series are gorgeous. I know, I'm a cover lover *hangs head* I'm so glad I decided to pick this one up, I really enjoyed LDane's writing style and I already know I'll be needing to backtrack and snag book one asap.

Falling Under opens with Carmella Rossi, an unemployed young woman that is searching for a new job. She's offered an accounting/office manager type position by Duke Bardshaw, the sexy motorcycle dude that lives next door. He's hot, he's into the same stuff she is, and he'll be her boss. This doesn't sound like the perfect way to start a relationship, but it just works in their story. Both of them start a we'll see where it goes type relationship and it morphs into more without either realizing.

I found myself connecting with Carmella's character quickly. She's really easy to relate to and I enjoyed her story. The family drama and bumps in the road for Duke and Carmella had me a bit nervous at times, but I found myself hoping they'd make things work. Twisted Steel, the custom motorcycle shop that the series revolves around was full of hot tattooed men, so here's hoping the next book will be out soon! I recommend this book if you're looking for a steamy biker read that you won't be able to put down.

  4. There's nothing wrong with judging covers. I do it all the time. Besides it's the first thing us readers see when looking up books online. I was a little worried given the fact that I haven't read this authors work either and it's the second in a series. Glad to hear that you really enjoyed it even though you never read the first book. I'm guessing that every book deals with a different person from Twisted Steel? Sounds like a fun series. Definitely adding this one to my list.
