Melissa's Review:

Dirty Rowdy Thing is book two in the Wild Seasons series. This time around the main characters are Harlow and Finn. Harlow is the loud friend, we all know the type, there is one in almost every group. She's the kind that always says what she’s thinking without filter. I wasn't sure how I would like her character, but I quickly realized that she has a soft center and wants to help her friends and family in any way she can. Finn is the quiet, deep thinking type with the rugged good looks. Oh and he's also a fisherman in Canada. He has a boat and fishes with his father and two brothers for a living.

In this installment, we're set in California, where the majority of the guys/gals live. All of them are in town since one of them is opening a comic book store and everyone wants to be there to support him. We have a few story arcs going on, but the main one being Harlow trying to not be tempted by Finn. They have a history, you know the whole getting married then getting an annulment in book one which lets the two have a somewhat hesitant friendship. As I knew they would, things get steamy rather quickly between the duo and all I could think of was how are they going to make this work.

The whole book has that hesitant relationship, where you can see it growing but the characters have no clue. Both of them knew it wouldn't last forever, but by the end of it how are they going to be able to separate? I enjoyed this story even more than book one, which surprised me. Maybe because I was unsure how Harlow's character at the beginning. The story, the plot, the world it all just worked for me. I can't wait for book three to be released and suggest to read this series if you haven't yet!
