Melissa's Review:

I was so glad to see that Jennifer Snyder was going to continue the Succubus Kiss series. I got a taste of the characters in the novella Kiss of Awakening and fell in love. The novella is currently free, so snag this while you can and get an intro to the series!

Seduce is book one of the Succubus Kiss series. The main character, Kenna, is a succubus that has come into her powers and is trying to live her everyday life. She's a bartender in the evening and has an eclectic group of friends. Sage, a coworker and one of Kenna's BFFs helps her loosen up by taking her clubbing on several occasions. There's also a blind date that she arranges for Kenna which leads to several awkward moments.

The blind date doesn't go quite as planned when the guy winds up being late and she is left having to fend off persistent men trying to hit on her. Oh the bad pick up lines men use, they always make me chuckle. If that's not bad enough, Kenna walks in the men's bathroom and it was definitely not vacant. The only positive for Kenna is the hunk she walked in on seems to have the same instant attraction that she feels. The two make eyes at one another all night, but go their separate ways. I'm always intrigued to see how the author will reintroduce the characters after they leave with no contact information. Randall, the hunky vampire that Kenna walked in on, spices up the book. I knew when the blind date didn't go well that the love interest would be someone else.

I'm addicted to Jennifer Snyder's books, my favorites so far are probably the paranormal ones due to my genre love but the contemporary ones are excellent as well. Seduce is well written and a fast read that left me wanting book two ASAP. I personally haven't read many books that have a succubus, and I do love it when I read ones that have the non-typical paranormal characters as the main. All in all I recommend you snag this (or at least the novella I mentioned above) if you're looking for a New Adult / Paranormal Romance succubus read.
