Melissa's Review:

Samantha Kielty is an up and comer at her job, but she's all work and no play. When Sam is offered a promotion and a move to the company's headquarters she ties up the loose ends at the San Antonio branch and heads to Dallas. Samantha manages to push through tight deadlines on projects with a ton of hard work and always gets the results she seeks.

Logan McCoy is Sam's boss and very dedicated to his job. When he had a video "interview" with Sam, he couldn't believe the attraction he felt towards her. Fast forward several months and Sam and Logan are both trying their best to keep everything professional, but I could tell from the beginning that the intensity was too much. I rather enjoy the no we shouldn't but I can't get you off my mind type books. The two eventually decide to keep it discrete and just to see where it goes. The book itself isn't all about sex, or their job, you get to know both characters and what drives them. I value this in a book, it fleshes out the characters and just gives the story balance.

That being said, Conviction is HOT and definitely not for the faint of heart. There's a bit more than just vanilla sex, there are a few threesomes, and a dash of toy play. If you're looking for a hot boss/employee romance I highly suggest Conviction.

Narrators:
This was my first dual narrated audiobook. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. Whenever the story is in Sam's POV the narrator is Sabrina Brooks, and in Logan's chapters it is Jay Crow. I found I actually quite enjoyed the dual narrators. It made it easier to connect the dots when the POV shifted and I felt both narrators did a great job. I enjoyed Sabrina Brooks' expressive voice from the beginning, but took a little while to get used to Jay Crow's narration. Through no fault of his own though, I'm just not used to male narrators. All in all I will definitely be looking into more dual narrated books.

  1. I'm not that much into erotica I confess so I'm not sure about this one but I'm glad you had a good time with it.

    1. Thanks Melliane! I wasn't a fan of erotica for a long time, not sure what made me start reading them occasionally a year or so ago. Probably curiosity lol

  2. I'm not much into foursomes, but I thought the author's name was familiar, that's because I have Kaleb (Alluring indulgence #1) and heard it's excellent. I can't wait to finally discover that author :)

  3. I've only listened to a couple books with more than one narrator, but I would like more of them to be that way. Especially the Kate Daniels series. There are so many male characters and I find that Renee Raudman can't really give unique voices for all of them. Her male voice tends to just be sort of "gravelly".

  4. A sexy audiobook? That I would have to try. I'm sure it'll make me blush though when they start moaning and groaning. I think I will try erotica in audio next, that sounds exciting!

  5. I love dual narrators! You have me curious now. It does sound like a has a good plot behind it. I have to have that in an erotic novel to enjoy it. I'm glad you pass the test ;) a lot of peeps can't listen to erotica, they get embarrassed..lol The sex does seem more in your face, don't you think?
    Great review Lily!
