Brody West is an undercover cop that is taking a few days off after a mission so he can relax. Little did he know that stopping by the bank before going fishing would cause such a stir. Gang members decided to rob the place, and the teller Brody was flirting with winds up getting shot. With no relaxation time in sight, Brody has to maintain his cover identity since they spotted the tattoo he earned that marks him as one of their own.

Tattoo starts off with a bang, and doesn't let up. I was rather taken with this book, but it was Brody that made me love it so oh so much. Brody is a good guy that is also a bad boy due to his job. He has that edge that makes most women go a bit starry eyed. He's also one of those protective types of guys. He barely knows Taylor but he steps up to the plate as soon as she's in danger and tries to protect her. Every now and then I just need that type of character, and this fit the bill. While the story was told in alternating POV, I feel like it slightly lacked a bit in Taylor's department, that's why I had to give Tattoo four stars. If you're looking for a fast paced book with a hunky undercover cop, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Tattoo.

  1. I love stories told in the male POV but the fact that they alternate, it would feel odd if you're not getting the same amount of face time with Taylor.

  2. Brody sound like my kind of hero. I never read a cop romance before, maybe this would be a good book to start with. I wonder how much is going bother me not getting more time with Taylor, since Broody sounds so interesting ;)
    Thanks Lily :)
